WASSUP GUYS, I JUST RECENTLY SWAPPED A JDM B18C OBD1 IN MY 95 SI H/B. THE CAR RUNS GREAT AND ALL, BUT THE VTEC DOESNT SEEM TO BE KICKING IN THAT HARD. MY QUESTION IS CAN IT BE THE JDM VTEC SOLENOID? MY WIRE HARNESS IS USDM AND HAS TWO PLUGS FOR THE VTEC SOLENOID. BUT THE SOLENOID ONLY HAS ONE MALE CONNECTOR(SO THERES NO OTHER PLACE TO CONNECT THE OTHER ONE TO). CAN THIS BE MY PROBLEM? ...IM RUNNING A STOCK P72- AND NO CODES ...
    THANX FOR COMMENTS AND SUGGESTIONS

if it's engaging easy then everything is sound.... this is the way it's always been right.... if your ecu and exp cams are still stock you should have a smooth vtec engagement.

if your running a USDM ECU you need to run a USDM B series VTEC solenoid.... JDM B series VTEC motors have the vtec oil pressure tapped off
