question about guage cluster in a sentra

nismo tech board was closed so i guess ill axe here eh

now the automatic seatbelt in my dads 93 sentra on the driver side took a crap and dont move so the seatbelt thing in the guage cluster is constantly blinking.


I tried taking the bulb out, good idea, but then the lights that light up the cluster so u can see it in the dark dont work now...

so I was thinking just put a wire..but that might fry somthing so maybe i was thinking a resister or somthing instead of the bulb?


or is there any other easy fixes?

put some eletrical taoe or something around the bulb and put it back in. That way it would complete the circuit needed to get the other lights on and you won't see it light up.

there is a single wire that connects to the bottom of the where the seat belt connects... ground it.
