I got a 90 CRX Si with a B16A in it. I was wondering how can you tell if your vtec is engaging or not? My ECU hasn't been touched so I figure it should be coming on around 5800 rpm. But how noticeable is it? I had a problem with my car for a long time and I finally figured out that my TPS sensor wasn't grounded properly. Once I fixed that and timed the car perfect, she's running smoother than ever. So smooth in fact, that I can't tell whether or not the vtec is engaging. And now I'm wondering if its engaging at all. Is there anyway I can check?
