I plan on turning my dx hatch in to a mini me, probably the d16y head...any ideas on after the modification to raise compression and duribility of my motor (i plan on turbo)
 
the mini-me swap raises your compression petty high already. if you want to turbo it, id take some more work to lower the compression.....just another obstacle

the y8 would give u a higher compression than the z6, btw....
 
using the Y8 HG will leave you aroung 10.#:1 CR
that is going to require some pretty intensive tuning to keep from detonating
