Remote Start installation help =(

So I am in the process of installing a remote start with alarm on my 95 ex. I got the doorlocks workin with the remote and now just am confused with the ignition set up compared to the alarms wiring. Can someone explain exactly how the ignition works to me?

From what I understand There is main power wire which goes to it, and a main ground up there somewhere. Then when you turn it, the ground cuts and sends power to the starter relay wire and accesory and main running wire... I'm not sure how on I am exactly but Its a guess.

There are 6 wires on the remote start system:
-violet starter output
-red +12v input
-red +12v inut
-yellow ignition 1 output
-pink ignition 2 output
-brown acc/heater output

If someone knows a bit more about this please explain it more in detail. Thanks!

ok, this is easy
there are 5 wires going to the ignition, all are large gauge wires
the big white one is your 12 volts constant, you are going to want to tap your red wires onto this wire
the black wire with a yellow stripe is your ignition 2 wire
the yellow wire is your ignition 1 wire (hey it matches)
your ACC/heater wire is white with a black stripe
your starter wire is black with a white stripe

SO:

ALARM-------------- CAR
RED ---------------WHITE
YEL -----------------YEL
BRN ------------WHT/BLK
PNK -------------BLK/YEL
VIO -------------BLK/WHT

Hope this helps, if not, then check out:
