RPM Stop working

I need help one the MSD RPM swicth activator the RPM on the dashborad do not work when i plug the White wire to the blue wire from the distributor but vetc work fine but the RPM stop working on the dash I need to Know how i can make the RPM work fine with MSD Rpm Swicth activator work or what is the best off usin diferent ecu. I just did the mini me to my lx 95 now i have vtec head 2000 sohc.

blue wire off the dist. is the tach wire. make sure it makes a complete circuit.
