Quick Q: whats the difference between Base and type-S
 
K20a3 Base has 160 hp 132 ft lbs and redlines at 6700 rpm I believe(?), K20a2 Type S has 200 hp 142 ft lbs torque and redlines at 8k rpm
 
K20a3 only has vtec on the intake cams. i think pistons are different as well, not sure though.
 
K20a3 only has half vtec. there are only 2 lobs on intake side and only 1 lob for exhaust side. the K20a2 and a are just like b series vtec.
