I installed my Stoptechs this last weekend- here are the pics!
Oh, thread with unboxing HERE
Cliff notes (late, don't want to write an essay):
Front/Rear all upgraded
Amsoil fluid, feels great, 2 12oz bottles to flush/bleed the whole system
TSW Nurburgring 17x9 +63 fits with no spacers
Net weight gain = 0.0 lbs (-.2 lbs front, +.2 lbs rear)
Video demonstrating clearance at the bottom
It stop good.
Pile o' boxes
Front: BBK kit
Rear: Powerslot rotors, matching Stoptech street pads, stainless braided lines
Oh, threw these on a few weekends ago too.
Stoptech 13" rotor, 14.0 lbs, super precise scale (it does repeat the same weights over and over again, with me holding parts and without)
Stock front rotor after 96k miles, 14.4 lbs
Old rotor on top of new rotor, size comparison
Stoptech on left, old crusty on right
OEM caliper, worn pad, rubber line = 11.4 lbs
Stoptech ST-40, adapter, new pad, stainless line = 11.6 lbs
OEM front brakes before removal
Stoptech front setup installed
OEM rear rotor after 96k miles = 9.6 lbs
Powerslot rear rotor = 9.8 lbs
Rear side by side, OEM crustburger on the left
OEM rear brakes before upgrading
Rear after new rotor, line, pad
Yummy stinky fluid
TSW Nurburgring 17x9 +63 fits just fine
