seat belt light

hey guys, I wasn't sure where to post this so move if need be, but I was wondering I've noticed that my seat belt light has never turned on so I was wondering if this is a common problem and how to fix it?
I have 1 on my dash and I have another one above my rear view mirror and neither of them have ever worked. I know it's a small complaint and I'm sure a lot of people would like to just have theirs disconnected but I'm just different I guess

could be a burnt bulb, or the previous owner removed said bulb because they didn't wear it? impossible to say without opening it up and seeing whats under there.

yeah I noticed that the wires that are going to the buckle aren't attached so I guess now I have to figure out how to connect them with almost no wire showing
