shift linkage help please

I have a 90 crx with a b18b in it, and the shift linkage was hacked. I have new shift linkage to put in, I was wondering what/ if any tricks were to get the pin out. Is their a certain way it comes out? Does It have to be done from the top? Please let me know. and help apreciated.

are u talking about the lock pin inside the linkage, right by the tranny...

They don't call that pin the bitch bin for no reason...

Just take a 10mm or 12mm bolt, put it to the pin and bang that shit so it pops out the top. I've had to hit these damn pins up to 30 minutes before it decides to pop out so don't get frustrated. Also, make sure the bolt it fairly long so you can hold on to it and have enough room on the other end to hit the bolt without smashing your damn fingers.

haha thats what i had to do on my 96 gsr swap.... that thing is a b**ch to remove just bang the SH*t out of it out untill it pops out...
