Does anyone know if you need to buy the fulcrum with a short shifter or can you just use the oem fulcrum?

here is a pic of a skunk2 dual bend short shifter (also available in single bend) for the civic or integra
prelude and accord are different due to having a cable shift linkage

what part are you wondering about??

Some of the shifters come with a fulcrum(the part that the ball pivots on) but they cost some more and i don't want to buy parts i don't need

dunno... for those others you might need to get the extra parts

get the skunk2 .... its very good quality and has the best feel for any short shifter ive used
might be a little more than some of the other brands ... but you get what you pay for

the number of belds

basicly check out what you have now and get the same thing
this will keep the shifter in the same position it is now

pretty sure integras have dual bend and civics have single bend

is there a way to see if you have a dual or single bend without getting into it?

why dont you make your own and save the money

i took a shifter out of another rex at my local junkyard

then i cut a section(cant remember how long) directly under the pivoting ball

then i welded that section right under the pivoting ball on my other shifter hence making a longer throw below the pivoiting ball.

this was 2 years ago

i only payed 15 bucks for the other shifter too

my opinion short shifters are a waste of time, they just fuck up your synchros.
