Got a 94 Accord i want to put a short shifter in it but have not had very much luck with finding one. Ive also heard that cutting the stock shifter is also possible and cheaper any advice on what i should do or where to look for one?

You can swap in a shifter from the older Accord(90-93) or from the Preludes and use the shift kits for those.

BTW, short throw shifters aren't usually physically shorter. Physically shorter shifters with zero reduction in throw offer no performance advantage.
