If I were to raise the compression on my zc to about 10.2:1, would that be a major need to tune the motor. Has aftermarket rods, pistons. Doesn't sound all that high, not much else is being done to the motor.

Well you dont need it tuned to get it to run good enough.

But a tune is highly recommended as you can get your car to run great.
A small price to pay now to get it tuned > what your going to have to pay to fix the probs with it down the road.

I didn't mean from a power potential perspective. I ment it as just to normally drive it. Somewhere down the line I will add a turbo, but not now.
