single cam in gsr? Questions

Yeah call me crazy, but I am debating on putting a single cam D16y8 into my 95 gsr. I want to drive the car asap, I will re install the b18 as soon as I'm finished building it.

The motor is out of a 98 civic ex

Will the mounts from the civic work?
Will the shift linkage from the civic work?

I am aware that I will have to get a jumper harness for the obd2 engine, can anyone else think of anything esle I would need?

Your help and input on this is greatly appreciated.

its gona be slow in that car and you will have to mod everything

I realize it's going to be slow, it's just temporary, what exactly are you thinking I will have to mod?

all of it mounts linkage axles the whole 9 yards

Thanks for you input, I understand that it will take different mounts, and shift linkage, I'm wondering though if the shift linkage, mounts and axels from the 98 civic will work?

I'm guessing none of those things will work, considering I swapped out my d16y8 for a b18c1, and I had to use the gsr axles, linkage and get new mounts.
