skunk2 adjusting bolts.

okay i just installed skunk2 cam gears on my enigne and i didnt know the torque spec so i tighten them to 10ftlbs but they are supposed to be at 6 soo i stripped the threds in one of the adjusting bolts. it still tightens but not very tight. you cant get it out by hand you still gotta use the alen key but i put some hondabond on it and screwd it in as much as i could. what should i do????

pull it out, re-tap it, use a slighlty larger allen screw.

IF it falls out and gets in your timing belt, it could do some serious damage.

as an aside, 6 ft/lbs semms pathetically small. are you sure about that spec?

the screw thred messed up when i was torqueing to 10 so i think so. i did some searches and lot of people have called skunk2 and they said that they recomend 6
