smog and referee CA how to pass

i got a ticket and have to take my car to the state referee... i took my car to get pretested for smog but i failed bad. visualy i am ok. but i ran a 259 on hc when i need to be a 88 or less. i ran ran a 1.05 on co when i need to be at .52. please help me i was considering running the denatured alcohol trick. has anyone perfected it? thank you for any help im desperate

get a new cat and change your O2.. and drive hard on the way over there

the cat is new but it is from autozone and the o2 is also new i think the wiring may be wrong its a denso universal

that is your problem. get an oe replacement.

yea.. something isnt working.. i ran really high on my HC levels.. and everytime i fixed something and went back they were even higher.. i changed the O2 and it passed smog with flying colors.. this was for BAR so he was being pretty strict..
