the 360 is much more versatile than the ps3 i will say. the wii is still my favorite new system though.

I have about 1600+ tied into my 360 :(
15 games x (average) 55 bucks = 825
360 w/ 2 controllers, HD DVD drive, batteries, Harmony remote = 800

But it is versatile and i really dont mind spending the money because i no longer go out and spend 60 bucks a night at the bar. I used to go out 3 times a week... And now I go out once a week and so that saves me 120 a week. And i know i dont buy 2 games a week :) so it is saving me in the long run.

Im lookin to get a wii, but im a cheap bastard and waiting for the price drop :p I will say, i bashed it before, but i like the system a lot for its fun factor and being able to dl any nintendo/sega game EVER. However, i still think its gimmick will die out in a year or two.

God i need the wireless thingee for the 360...

i never played galaga. I LOVED toe jam and earl back in the day, that game was the shit!! Get high as balls (in hs) and play that for hours, oooo the good ol days. That and tons of other great games, like Golden Axe for Sega Genesis :)

They need the suspension tuned! Negative camber in the front, a lil toe out to increase turn in. Then use the telemetry to fine tune the camber and tire pressure.

Steering was never a problem; just hitting the gas during exits was(and on chicanes). Like on the Elise, I had the suspension pretty much perfect, but once you get on the gas it gets unstable as hell(even with 2.5 of toe-in on the rear). You rarely get a chance to step on it all the way. The car was faster with less power(depending on course).

a few pornos and a bottle of lube = $100 and you won't go out at all durning the week:D

I thought about purchasing a 360 for forza 2.. But I want a PS3. But I'm getting out of debt.

But thats ok, I can wait until they drop to $199.00 each, and grab 'em both.

360 = 399.99 or 479.99 for the new one.

So at
399.99 360
199.99 HDDVD Drive
99.99 wireless adapter
49.99 1 year setup on xbox live.

right there puts you at 750.

of course all the 360 guys say you don't have to buy a wireless adapter, you can just run a cable to your 360.... yeah anyone who has a nice TV setup is going to run a cable across their floor, down the hallway, to their computer room.

PS3 is 599.99 comes with bluray player, wireless adapter and 60gb drive and FREE online gaming.

the 360 setup like the PS3 is 750-830 depending on if you do the elite or not.

Sure people say you don't need to spend that much on the 360 and can do it cheaper.

299.99 for core system, this comes with NO harddrive so you need to buy memory cards to save your game this also means you CANNOT get online. you must have a HD to get online.

so if you ever plan on playing online then its 399.99 + 50 for membership and another 99 if you want to go wireless. so 450-550 for a basic setup that lets you play online.

Now if you don't care about playing online then spending 299.99 for the core system and 20-30 bucks on a memory card will bring some fun to the table but IMO the xbox is NOTHING with out x box live.

Not really

Core (which they stopped manufacturing) 299.99
HDDVD drive - 199.00
Wireless adapter - 50 (aftermarket)
120 GB HD - 179.00
Xbox Live - 50

779 dollars, and you can purchase the HDDVD for 150 at EB games used. So you have a budget setup with 2 wireless controllers at that cost :) Double the Harddrive and has a 100 times better online gaming experience. Plus when IPTV is launched... you wont have to have a cable provider :) just a subscription to IPTV for the 360.

the core system sucks.

i had to go to three stores to find the pro system. the core was everywhere.

I couldn't find anything wireless aftermarket wise that was supported by the 360, cheapest I could find was $79.99 and don't pull the MS fan bullshit of you can find it on ebay... that doesn't count.

Also you forgot the core comes with the crappy wired controller and no headset.
xbox live + headset go hand and hand. MS did a great job of that.

50 wireless adapter?? where the hell is that, all i can find is the MS one for 100.

dlink and I think linksys both make one but they're 79-99

MS pissed me off because I was too stupid to look into how much the 360 really cost. I thought it was like my PS3.

buy a 360 + condom (warranty)
game and extra controller.

Thought live had free service for basic and paid service for some perks.

sure enough when I went to get online I found out unlike the way to expensive PS3 I had to buy all the extras. boy was I pissed because most boards I go to are all 360 fan boys that shoot down the PS3 day in and day out.

PS3 cost too much my ass.

I looked into those and saw nothing good about using them with a 360. Sounds like the 360 is picky and throws a fit like any other MS product same goes for the older cheaper (gaming) adapters.

Have you tried that? if not let me know if you know anyone who has done it.

Comcast has a limited supply of them. There are for customers who have an ethernet port, but not an available usb for wireless. It works 100% but i have mine hardwired as of now.

I've used it on my old xbox. It is external to the xbox, it thinks its on wired ethernet. So if xbox 360 has problems on Cat5, then ya, it will have problems with this. If not, it knows no different.
