it's a normal old bar that does karoke during the week.

but splitshift is a heavy metal band. they used to be a Korn cover band. they fucking own.

just got signed by elektra and are going to be the band of this summer, if not the fall once they get some national recognition.

seeing a band of this statute is like seeing god smack in 1998. and i did that too- along with about 80 other people who where there for a local alice in chains cover band, "facelift". yes, i saw godsmack open for a cover band. lol met sully and the guitar player, and he siged my cd that i bought at the show for $5.
it's amazing how things change.

splitshift owns.
hell, i own one of their t-shirts, and i'm awaiting shipment of their debut EP. Their name label cd hit the stores last week... and word on the street is they will be touring with metallica this summer
