i have tokico blues and sprint springs with a 2.25" drop, sandome cheap front STB. my car rides smoother then stock. is ther a way to stiffen my ride without replacing my springs or shocks?

also, my left front wheel hits the wheel well just about every time i hit a little bump while tirning *like a rain gutter, turning at ~5 mph* while the right front does not do this. any ideas what can cause this? oyther then a faulty spring or shock because it just started doing it about 3 weeks ago, while my car has been lowered for about 5 months now. i don;t remember hitting any big ass bumps, or anyhitng that would hurt my suspension..

are the spring rates different for front and rear???/ do you have the right ones in the right spots??

they should all be the same, but i'm not completely sure, it didn't say anything about the spring rates on the box. there wasn't any markings whether one was for the left front for the right front so i'd assume so.

what i have noticed, though, is that my car sits at a slight angle, it is a little bhit lower on the feft side, then it is on the right, *talking about 1/2" or so. i figured that it was because i always sit on that side..

sounds like you have the springs in the wrong places .... look at the back if one side is higher swap that one out for the front one thats lower
if not maybe it is a faulty spring return it

i'm pretty sure i have the springs in the right places, but i think i may just have to return it and get a new one. is it possible that i just have it upside down?

i'm not sure if the back is uneven, but i'll check it out.

any ideas about the 'original' question?

i dont really know of any ways to make it stiffer aside from revalving your struts to stiffer specs (if you can do that to those)
but that still wont fix the ride height issue

that sounds good.. maybe i can return the springs and get some eibachs.. but tis been laroud 5 mos so i doubt it.. can get all 4 eibacks for 170 though.. if i get the eibach springs, it hould make it stiffer right?

if the springs on there now are as soft as it sounds yes it should stiffen up the ride

the back is even, so its just the front left thats messed up. think it will be benificail to switch the fronts?

Coilovers on a 90 accord ride about as stiff as a 50 year old man that od'd on viagra. But if you dont want to replace your springs I'd suggest upper and lower strut bars and mabey some better bushings for your suspension.

I have sprint as well and mine sits too low on the left as well, except both front and rear are off which makes me want to beleive that you just need to switch the front sides, and I need to switch both. You have an easier task so before I jump into a complete swap u should try to swap the front. If you don't then oh well. I was thinking about taking them back too.

yeah my front left sits higher then my front right also, its weird shit, so I am just going to take all the springs off and put them on as needed to be from the packaging because the last owner was a fucktard and probably put the wrong ones in the wrong places.

I have a 90 accord W/ skunk 2 coilovers they ride stiff but like shit my advice to you is stay with springs. It sounds likes you're shock is bad in the front. Anyways what I did was rear and front camber kits I know its kind of a big invetment but its worth it will change your ride and handling and you won't have to keep waisting money on replacing tires. I also did a front strut tower bar and that made a huge difference that should make your suspension tighter than a 10 year old.

i have yet to work on my suspension any more. i have a front tower bar, vbut everything else is stock. i think i just want to get new springs, but i need to do some work on my breaks. my left outer brake pad is dragging on my rotor and worn itself pretty much out, so i gotta get that fixed.
