Ok, I am new here and i did check to see if this question has been asked before. I didn't find it if it was...
Now to the question. I have had my 91 CRX for 6 or so years, just recently the auto tranny started to give me problems when i put the car in D4. In D3 the car is fine and doesn't shutter or unload just to reload about a second later. D4 is my only problem gear setting. Idk if it happens to be a torque converter or what but i am not able to go over about 45-55 mph without reving the car up too high.
like i said its "a" stock D15B2. I had to replace the stock one when i was in high school on a kids budget. I am still on a tight budget so i cant do an engine swap and i cant find a cheap enough 5 speed that isn't in cali or something, I am in kansas so swaps are not too readily available to me nor are shops.
