What are the big adv and disadv of swapping or upgrading the liters in my teg. For example if i swapped a Stroker B18b Ls motor into my teg as apposed to the 1.8 I have now...Is it even worth the swap if im planning on running boost..

I don't get it? how are you going to gain cubic inches by swapping 1.8 parts for 1.8 parts?

or wait... is the b18b you want to swap in already stroked?

I think it'd be cheaper to just buy the stroker kit itself.

the advantage is more power

disadvantage is a proportionally worse r/s ratio, meaning higher forces are exerted on the rotating assembly at higher revs

thank you...I was planning on buying a 2.2 stroker motor that was laready assembled..I wasnt sure if it was worth it or not...But, yes I love to rev to 10 grand myself, so thank you for the advice on not going with the stroker motor..I will just build my B18b I have a sleeve it and build it up for boost..

werd- screw the stroke. sleeve it to 84mm and you will be ready to boost all day
