Stuck w/ a deision to make

I recently finished my swap this summer and hit a snag. We got the engine in ther and me and my friends pieced togeher the DPFI to MPFI conversion from acticals and books. We got it to run for about a 1week and a drove maybe three times. By the last time i drove it, it started to back fire and idle would drop when stoping and stall once or twice. Got it at a friends shop right now and can't figure out what is up. We did replace the ditributer coil, because it wouldn't start but the main problems still remain. Need any help i can get.

check your TPS...did you reverse the 2 outer wires?

yea the TPS and those wires was first things we checked when it stalled and wouldn't start. I am thinking of just calling Hasport and paying 200 dollars for them to make me one but i was seeing if any one could maybe tell me if i missede anything.
