Well, being a parts car, the nice stereo wasnt doing anything good in there, so I decided to take it out. Only problem, the previous owner, being mechanically illiterate as he is, tried to take the stereo out with a screw driver, and majorly FAILED!

So, it took me like two hours to get it out, and to go from this:

To this:

And back again. Man was that a bitch! Use proper tools next time, kids!:D

EDIT: I put it all back together afterwards, of course.
 
WTF? Look like some overkill there. You should have been able to just go to the local stereo shop and borrowed the Pioneer keys. They slide on the side to detatch the sleeve from the head unit.

what the hell are you doing taking the dash apart:lol:
 
I bought the damn keys... that's the thing, they didnt work! The other guy jacked it up trying to get it out. I had to do that, otherwise I would not.
