ok so look im new to this site cuz i have some questions .... i have a 1994 B18C GSR and im putting it in a 1996 civic si but i no the civic is obd2 and the ecu i have is obd1 so is it as simple as just getting a obd1 to obd2 conversion harnness or is there more to it with the wires

the simplicity of the swap is going to depend on the harness in the car. if the car has an obd2 VTEC harness, it will be damn near plug and play.

if the car has an obd2 NON-VTEC harness, you will need to run wires for the VTEC solenoid, and oil pressure sensor.

in either event, you will need an obd2>obd1 conversion harness. which harness is in the car?

What is a 96 si? Or is it a clone to the 99-00 USDM si's? :hmm:
Wasnt aware of si models for 96-98 U.S. ...

What Matt said....and if you decide to stay OBD2 a CKF & Knock sensor bypass.
