hey whats up guys, i just broke my tranny today (ls) , it was broken before but i got it to work again shortly after... so i have a question, what are the specs for the bolts that hold the trans, to the rear mount? i know they are grippable with a 19mm wrench,but that is all.
 
Mount bolts are 17mm and you want them tight. If the back drops the transmission can shift/drop and bind the axles. When this happens they can break/snap, leaving you stranded.
 
If the bolts are not correct it would be best to HELI-COIL the trans case and use the correct bolts or studs. That part of the case does have the tendancy to strip. There are other options to fix it too.
