ok well im pulling one motor and dropping the other one in.

what is all needed to be done? i know i need to run vtec wires,

but whats this i hear about a iacv fix?

If you have access to it, grab the ecu, wiring harness, head with manifolds, and the tranny from the Y8, and re-use your Y7 bottom end to make a mini-me, higher compression, better torque, and still runs on regular gas. It's the best all-factory-parts D-series out there IMO.

Since you'd be using the Y8 head/IM, wiring harness and ecu, you shouldn't need to run any additional wires for the vtec, or deal with the iacv.

If you're swapping the entire motor, complete with the manifolds and wiring harness then you shouldn't need to worry about any IACV issues...
