My tachometer is dead ever since I did my swap. Anyone know how does the tachometer work? I was told it takes the reading off the distributor. Anyone know which distributor wires or component it runs on?

    Thanx.

    Thanks.

My tach didn't worked because the wirings were wrong. My blue wire was spliced with the MSD ignition box white wire. The MSD setup also didn't work with the tach until I opened up the dis, removed & taped up the white/blue wire and fixed in the blue wire in place of the white/blue wire on the igniter module inside the distributor. Wah lah and both the tach and distributor became alive. :spin:
