tail light replacements...

just painted my 91 hatch

i know everyone frowns upon altezzas, but are there any other options besides stock?

whats wrong with stock? they light up, work, and well, thats what they are supposed to do.

altezzas look like shit, leak, fog up, and are uber gay.

insert_other_brand_here and they will do the exact same

Run red/clears or all red with clear reverse lights. If you can't find any on the market, get some Testor's candy apple red and paint them yourself. You can use the directions on my web site if you want.

normally i have no problem with stock...

but i went with a bright color paint and the stock tail lights just look too dark and dim...

i spent a lot of hours on the paint to try and make the car as nice as possible, but the stock lights are really killing it...

perhaps if i just got all new stock replacements it would look better...

Maybe- or you could go with a custom LED conversion and turn the whole rear end into one nice bright LED panel.

there are clear rear tail lights you can get too. very illegal and i would suggest only uing those for shows.

oh and moving to exterior section...

I know a guy with an EG that bought the completely clear/frosted taillights and painted the brakelight half = bam, instant Si-style tails.
