today my friend asked if there was a way to email someone from the computer to their cell phone. i thought about it and remembered it could be done, but have to remember their service domains like @att.mobile.com or @messaging.nextel.mobile.com or some variation thereof.
anyway, did a search and found this excellent free service, teleflip. its free and it works. just put in the 1(area code) number and add @teleflip.com. no charge unless you friend doesnt have texting so theyll get charged by their provider

hopefully it doesnt go fubar like pass get free services, i.e. napster, netzero, kazaa, and such. all were great when they first started, but all eventually ending be gay and requiring fees to be great again.
