honda is stingy with the info on the motor...

the pilot has a 3471 cc v6 with 255 and 250 ft lbs and has a redline of 6300

255@5600
250@4500

i think the pilot, odyssey, and ridgeline all have the same motor

edit: the acura RL however has a 3.5 liter v6 boasting 300 horse and 260 ft lbs with a redline of 6800 and compression ratio of 11:1

nsx has a 3.2 with 290 and 224ft lbs with a redline of 8K

Yea, I have a feeling that other than screwing your f/r balance (which sucks anyway), the added power throughout the band will MORE than makeup for the extra weight you got. But as some people are saying, you can definitely get similiar numbers out of smaller engines.

out of all the dyno charts ive seen only d series torque comes close to matching HP, only after being modified of course

balance would be comprimised but not too much, most of the S2K engine bay is behind the front wheels

yep. It first was a 3.2 liter, however since they were made on the same line as the pilot with a 3.5(J-series?), they moved to the bigger engine in either 2002 or 2003. Only the first gen vans had 4 cylinders (i think they were just f22's or f23's)

those 99 oddyssey's are quick for a minivan. One of my trips down to FL I was cruising at like 115, this motherfucker rolls up in his fuckin minivan does a little ricer move and just takes off. I was in a POS tercel but that Oddyssey moved faster than any minivan I've ever seen.

Fine fine fine. Not only have I been out of the Honda world for almost 2 years, I never made it a point to know anything about minivans. Hell, even when I have kids, I will never own a minivan. WRX Wagon it shall be. Or, an STi Wagon, if they ever get imported here.
