Supra. If you aren't a retard and crash it.

Other than that, an S2000 is a fun car to drive, very high strung. great gas mileage as well.

If you are taller then 5'10" then dont get the s2000. The cockpit is too small. Would the skyline be a new one or an import?

    Supra:

newest in US is 10 years old
    ridiculously expensive to work on
more of a high speed car as opposed to super nimble (my preference)
"what do a 600whp, 700whp and 800whp Supra have in common? they all do 12 seconds in the quarter mile."

    Skyline:

even more ridiculously hard to work on
extremely hard to find one that's legal to drive in the US
parts are impossible to find because none were available here

    Evo:

    4 doors
    available new
    fairly practical
    good handling
    really crappy gas mileage
really really easy to survive situations in when you should be dead- like overcooking it in a corner

    S2000:

    available new
    great gas mileage
extremely nimble (lightest of all 4)
    2 seats only
    convertible
very rewarding when driven fast, but can really bite you in the ass if you're an amateur

    I'm 5'11" and 210lbs. I fit fine in an S2K.

As for a grad gift, I didn't get anything more than a little cash. Already had my Integra bought with my money.

Agreeing with Calesta my choice is an S2000 if your not a idiot. Evo if you are. I don't mind seeing a "A wrecked my Evo" thread, an S2000 thread would hurt more.

Well it depends also if you need to carry more than two passengers and a few grocery bags as well. You're not going to fit much in an S2k. An Evo has a lot more room for crap.

Someone is really spoiled. I got a card that said congratulations from my high school, and college graduation. I've always wanted a Skyline but thats just me. I'd go with the Evo. Its practical and can still move with 4 people in it.

Why those choices? If it's going to be in that price range, why not consider all the other cars in that price range?

VW R32 is what I would get if I could throw money at something. May not be the best car out there in comparison to others, but those things make me cream my pants.

The R32s do look really good, but the only thing that sucks about them is the fact that you can not get them in a 6Spd. Its all that auto stick bs.

Is this person somehow affiliated with you? Got that impression based on how you wrote it.

You cant get an R34 in the states as a legal car though. Something with the safety requirements

There is another thread about importing cars. Let's not start it all over again.
