does a throttlebody spacer really give you more horsepower. i have read a million ads stating that it will. But who knows???? do any of you out there know about this will it work, dyno results or anything on it thanx. by the way i saw them for sale on ebay for 40 dollars

My friend just put one on his S10 and said he felt a difference but I am skeptical to any performance gains from this.

is it the plastic one that keeps it from getting heat soaked??

no its billet alum. and its threaded to make the air entering the intake mani swirl around. i really do not understand how this will make more horsepower

i do not think that this will work as well as say a intake manifold spacer, If you have a good intake then you should be fine, I cannot see a throtle body spacer getting the air colder, all i can see it doing it keeping the throtle body it self cooler. if there are any gains from this they will be so small and almost not noticible.
