that dude is named fritz, hes a local dude. ill paste the story form our local forum.

"A vendor (to be unamed at this time) sold him the wrong threaded spline drive lug nuts. They were apparanelty fine thread instead of course (this was the observation of at least one participant there who is a professional mechanic). They threaded on ok, and held torque, but when he went into the first turn, the front passenger wheel came off, then followed quickly by the other 3 as the car lost balance and unevenly applied pressure the the other corners.

After the car was lifted up and and the stock wheels and nuts put on, the underside looked ok, it rolled, started up and was driving to the paddock area to wait for a flatbed. It looked like the rotors took the brunt of the fall. The fenders and 1/4 panels are all dented. "

from memory

red 3rd gen RX7 at an autocross
stages up at the starting gate
comes hard out of the gate
goes into the first corner
car looks like it becomes seriously unstable
right front seems to load up (front right corner goes down)
squealing sounds
right rear wheel comes off of the car
car jerks a little
both left side wheels come off
car slides to a stop sitting on the rotors
video cuts to right up at the car
people searching for lug nuts
camera pans around the car
surprisingly little damage considering what just happened
right rear corner of the car is a little crunched

All four wheels fell off in a matter of 3-4 seconds. I'm wondering if someone didnt jack his lug nuts as a joke.
