CAFROG Honda Minion VIP Oct 27, 2011 #8 Is that B18C5 belt an okay length for the B16B? I have never measured them but I am worried it is a longer belt than the deck height of the B16B. The Type R (B18C5) and GSR (B18C1) are the exact same part number for a timing belt (P72). The B16A2 and B16A3 have the same exact part number (P2T). So that tells me that the B18C5 (and B18C1) timing belt would not be the right fit. And B18C5 is de-stroked version of a B16B?? I thought it was the other way around.

CAFROG Honda Minion VIP Oct 27, 2011 #10 Well I do not have the resources to cross reference non-USDM But I am positive that the B18C5 and B18C1 have the exact same part number 14400-P72-014 (same as stated above) B16A3 B16A2 have the same exact part number. ...which is different than B18C1/5 14400-P2T-004 I do not know a whole lot about the B16B so I am probably wrong but the whole situation has me wondering.
