Tokico Hp....

Is anyone else noticing this trend.

I have a few friends with different cars with tokico hp's The first year they ride sooo smooth and handle great. After that, all of them had one thing in common...they all blew or had problems with them going bad.

I was gonna get some tokico blues very soon but because of this, i'm worried about durability.
Has anyone personally compared tokico hp's with other shocks or whateva?
Gimme some other options for about the same price range and comments vs. tokico's

i have tokico blues in front with eibach sportline springs. they have at least 30k miles on them and theyre still good!

I've got Tokiko Illumina's on the rear for the adjustability, and I'm going to buy HP/Blue's for the front. Reason is, I can get an 89 Accord HP shock for my car, and that lowers it 1 to 1.5" because of the shorter valvebody. I've never HEARD of immense problems with the HP shock, though.
