Just for further knowledge, you can also wire the indiglos to your ashtray light. It only comes on with the dash lights.

oh and also another reason you shouldnt probe those wires is not because of the arc, that was never a concern, but take a look at how small those wires all, probing them like a noob can actually just cut the wire in half and all of a sudden you have no power to anything! small wires should not be probed, battery cables, by all means poke at it like it was your g.f!
