I did some research last night on www.homemadeturbo.com and came across pics of air filters for the turbo charger. I've seen them before, but what are they called?

    Turbo Filters?!

Would it be okay to use generic filters or is there a good reliable source I can purchase one from?

i just used a 4" K&N right on my 4" housing of my compressor.
you're turbo will most likely be smaller, so size your filter accordingly.
