Turbo Rebuild

    My buddy has a ITS turbo laying around, and i was going to pick it up from him but i dont know where to get a rebuild from what ive seen its is out of business. would a garett rebuilt be the same?
    the wheels are perfect but the bearings need to be replaced.

    thats honestly a tough question.. you got any diesel performance shops in your area?

    why do you ask that?

    from what ive read it's a ITS (innovative turbo systems) stage 2, but ITS is now Comp turbos witch im not sure if the rebuild they have will work on this one.

    we were thinking it's probably going to be the same style center section as a garrett turbo but i wanted to make sure be for buying a rebuild.

    I'd say call customer service at Garrett and Comp. Someone will know.

    I asked because theyre typically pretty knowledgeable especially when it comes to turbos.

    oh gotcha, im really not too sure if we have diesel shops around here, ill give comp or someone a call and fine out.

    Hello I know its been a while but did you get any where with the turbo rebuild? If you need some help Let me know. I do know several ppl that do rebuild Turbos one I am thinking about set me up with a rebuild kit for my truck. 05 and a 07 Dodge ram both are Diesel..
    Just need some info on what the turbo is and the serial or part number and the maker of it.. In the picture I can't make anything out...

    My turbo rebuild kit was 85 bucks if I remember correctly
