turn signals dont work

i have a 92 si hatch and the turn signals are giving me problems, sometimes they go on for a few flashes then turn off, sometimes they stay solid, sometimes they won't work at all, any ideas of what could be going on??? what can i do????

check your hazard button and or relay im betting its the hazard switch cuz my car did the same thing
