what yr of swap? i'm sure its obd2 into ur 95 civic... are u doing it urself??
if so, or if not, and depending on money budget, u might as well get a obd2a/b to obd1 conversion harness. then get u a chip to have it done by a local shop to eliminiate all ur codes.
did u get a obd2 ecu from the swap?

you went all out getting a type r when you arent sure of what will work for you. like luisp said, you're most likely going to have to get a obd1 conversion and im not 100% positive but the gsr ecu will work but i dont know if you need that chipped or if it'll work without that, anyone?
