Car: 94ls
Ok today i didnt have to work so i decided to do the hood release relocation and fuel kill switch.
However under the hood i noticed that my throttle cable was a bit lose so i tightened it up abit, it now idles at 1100- 1300 rpm so if i start out in first and i let off the clutch really slow it goes, is this good or bad. now my problem is.
when i turned my car on i was lookin around in the engine bay and i heard 2 noises one was a low almost constant ticking noise coming from some where near the head on the right side near to the timing belts and the other was a kinda shaking like the jingle of keys sound. I cant really pinpoint the sounds cause my motor makes noise when its on so i tried my best to tell explain. I also noticed lately that my car didnt have as much torque in 1st as before. that the butt dyno though( i though that was because of a leaky ehaust and i was using 92 octane gas) but i really hope my car isnt dying cause i dont got money right now buy major parts. Beefore u tell me i am not runnin a lower octance.
To keep all my problems in one post so i dont multi post. I read in a forum that downshifting to slow ur car down is bad to ur motor this correct
