Vtec Assemblies.

I lost one of the "pins" or "buckets" that locks in vtec in my B series head. I was just wondering if any of the vtec assemblies are interchangable, thinking maybe I could snag one out of a "D" at the scrapyard or something.
Just trying to save a few bucks, Honda wants over $200.

Not interchangeable I believe.

However... you are in luck as I have an entire set of b18c-r vtec rockers with bad cam pads. All the little parts are still there. Paypal me $20 and I'll ship you one of the assemblies. PM me if you are interested.

side note quick question, other than being out of tolerance, what other negative effects can bad cam pads cause ? possibly cam scarring ?

lots of noise, cam scarring / wear, tiny pieces of metal getting into your oil.
