Vtec/ECU problem

well, ive got a vafcII in my crx with a b16, the vafc will engage vtec but the ecu sends no vtec output to turn the vtec on, before i had the vafc i had no vtec, only the single cam

this is a pr3 ecu and is obd0, everyone tells me my car is slow for what it is, is it possible i have the wrong ecu, along with wrong tuning in the ecu, etc, and this is what is making my car "slower" then normal?

The PR3 is the correct ECU for the B16 assuming it's an OBD0 Sir 1 engine.

Did you wire the VTEC components to your ECU when you swapped the B16? The CRX ECU harness does not include the wiring for VTEC from the factory.

well i sent my harness out to rywire to have them make it, so everything was plug and play, but i have no vtec at all from the ecu, only the vafc sends the vtec signal
