VTec>>LS head

What if anything is interchangable between the VTec head and the LS head. What i am thinking is using GSR vlave train if it would fit.

Or if that doesn't work how high would be safe to spin a Stock LS head.

If i use a 403 cam could i set the redline at 8500 and not have to worry with a good tune in there too.

the problem with the ls head with spinning upwards of 8k is the rocker arm assembly. they "break loose" meaning the valve lash get messed up and you get nasty valve tick so you would have to constantly adjust your valves. if you want to rev upwards of 8k you're going to need a vtec head
