ok before i get started with my swap i wanted to do some wiring on my harness that i have for it so i wanted to know what wire is for the vtec and where does it run to the ecu. i looked at the Reference Materials but i don't understand the codes i am still new at this so if anyone can help me please let me know thanks

is this for the obd1 p72 because i noticed that it has p30 on it also let me know i am looking at the reference and it is not lining up right
 
You're using an OBD II ECU right? I'll try to find an illustrated pinout for it, I had one, but it'isn't hosted anymore.
 
is that pin out the same as a po8?

I would think so, at least in a general sense. It might have a couple differences, but both are OBD I SOHC vtec motors.
