ok so i have a zc block with a 1.6 head.
i swaped everything it all fell into place great car started fine, ran fine redlined at 7.4. dosent vtec make it revv to 8000 rpms? not sure,
but main question is:
tha car ran fine for a while like 3 weeks no vtec kicking.
then it would rev to 5000 only.
then now it wont rev more than 1000 rpms it will if i press tha gas slow it will rev to 3grand then i let off it will go only up too 1000 even pressing slow
tha motor gets really hot really fast but it reads that tha motor is not over heating but tha motor is really hot. ok so i have swaped intake manifolds cuz tha one i had was for a 1.5 so i got tha right one same thing.
i changed dizzys wouldnt even start dizzy bad. my dizzy that i have on it is broken, but it starts tha car fine, its broken by dizzy cap screw so it dosent close all tha way and tha timming is dead on (checked with timming light) idk what else to do dose any one know please im need my car running it has 180 when i put tha compression tested on it in tha frist cylinder. another thing when i took tha dizzy out i noticed metal shavings when some oil spilled out, ive alos changed injectors all of them idk what else to do will someone please help me on any ideas, anything will help
