im building a CRV-tec swap for my 95 EX Coupe and I found a ported GSR head for $800. I was wondering if I should go with that or a B16 head. Its a complete a head with valve cover, stock gsr cams, full machine work, 5 angle competition valve job, stage three port job, new guides, new seals, valves locks, resurfaced milled and, hot tanked. Its gonna be a boosted setup thats a daily driver runnin low boost on the srteet and anout 13 pounds on the strip. Which head should i use?
 
The GS-R head will work fine. If you like the stuff that's done to it and you're cool with the price then get it...
 
which one would be a better deal cause i fould a bone stock B16 head for $300
 
vtec heads that have that kind of work done to them usually sell in the $1k + range.. seems like $800 is a decent deal, seeing that the port job probably cost more than that
 
well in that case. just think, never pull the trigger.
