That might be true, but i know id miss a shift point by a couple hundred RPMs, and in a close race that might be the win. I feel my car when it hits 7500, but 7800 is more difficult to get the feel of.

tachs are helpful when racing, but for normal driving it's not needed. all you need to do is listen to your car, otherwise your music is too loud :)

Or you learn speeds of shift points also. That is something I did when I first got the car.

On the track I have a shift light in the center that I turn on and thats the really only time I use it. But after awhile you just learn it. That or ya just bang your shit off the rev limiter every gear.. :)
