Wanted: Cheap Auto honda / acura

My friend is looking for an automatic (Gotta be auto.. he drives standard, but he has a hollow knee and now has to commute in traffic) Honda or Acura. Anything will do. The condition has to be "presentable" and "Not gonna get pulled over every 5 minutes" like my Accord would do to him.

$1500 around abouts. If he can get away with an auto 91 Civ or something for a few hundred, that's preferable. He'll be keeping his Civic hatch, but it's a pain in the ass for him to commute in it.

Or maybe he'll trade. If someone has an 88-91 Civic hatch with auto, and flat out wants to trade for a 5 speed DX in bright red, lemme know.
