im actually needing the b18b block because i dont know if the b18a is as good or will work as good with the internals i got but im looking to spend 200-800 if sleeved also but if you can assure me that the b18a is the same thing as the b18b ill see about it.thnx

the blocks are pretty much identical. if you are changing the internals anyway, then ones the same as the other. if you have the $, dont bother with ls/vtec and just get a gsr shortblock, its a lot easier to do and much better and safer imo.
